Detect Unauthorized Entries Into a Restricted Zone
After-hours perimeters and fenced work zones go unwatched between guard rounds. A person can step into a restricted area and be gone long before anyone reviews the footage, so the crossing is investigated instead of prevented.

Count people entering and exiting the building conditionally via visual cues
Knowing how many people are inside a building is hard to get right from a raw camera feed. A person who lingers in the doorway gets counted twice, two people walking through together get counted once, and ordinary movement near the door gets tallied as an entry that never happened. Manual clicker counts and turnstiles are costly, intrusive, and fall apart at busy or wide entrances.
